Your team has spent the year getting faster at making content. The models helping you write it are also deciding who gets quoted when your buyer asks for a shortlist.

Open a model, paste the brief, get three headline options before the coffee lands. That is how a lot of marketing teams start the day now, and it works.
The same model is busy on the other side of the desk. Your buyer opens it, asks who to talk to in your category, and goes hunting for someone worth quoting.
It has firm opinions about who that is. A look at 9.5 million AI citations across six models found that roughly 75% of the LinkedIn citations pointed at individual people, and company pages took the rest. A separate study on different models landed in the same place.
You would expect that to reward the big accounts. Just over half of the cited creators had fewer than 10,000 followers.
What earns the citation is shape. The same study looked at what those posts contained, and the winners read like buyer guides: side-by-side comparisons appeared in 50% of top-cited content, alongside best-of lists and how-to-choose pieces. Thought leadership with data behind it managed 8%.
They named specific companies and carried real numbers, which is what writing looks like when someone is helping you decide.
That is roughly the inverse of how content calendars get funded. The brand essay gets the budget and the launch plan. The comparison piece gets written by a sales engineer and dies in a deck.
Start with the ten questions your buyers actually ask. They are already sitting in your sales calls and support tickets, and they are the same ones a buyer puts to a model long before anyone at your company hears from them.
Who should answer them? Someone who has fielded that question in twenty live meetings will give you the caveats, the exceptions, and the numbers, and that is the answer a model reaches for.
Think solutions leads, implementation managers, the person who runs your benchmarks.
Then the writing, which is where these plans tend to die. This is where marketing earns its keep, turning a rough answer into something publishable while the name on it stays the expert's. Every answer that makes it out under a real name is one more place a model can find you.
Your brand tells a buyer who you are. Your people are what a model repeats.
