Singapore, May 28, 2024 – Twimbit Telecom Awards celebrated the pinnacle of excellence in the telecom industry at the prestigious St. Regis Singapore earlier today.

Twimbit Telecom Awards, the Highest Honor for Telecom Innovators, recognised outstanding achievements in 23 Categories such as Telco of the Year, Small Markets Telco of the Year, Telco to Techco of the Year, and more, highlighting Overall Excellence and innovation across various segments. SKT, Reliance Jio, PCCW, Telstra, Optus, Bharti Airtel, Ooredoo Maldives were amongst the outstanding companies recognised at the awards ceremony. Their recognition signifies the industry's acknowledgment of their remarkable achievements. (List of winners in annexure A)

Additionally, Twimbit Telecom Awards proudly presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Mr. Ernest Cu, CEO of Globe Telecom. Since 2008, he has led Globe to become one of the foremost digital companies in the Philippines, boasting over 54 percent mobile revenue market share. His leadership has driven growth and innovation in several digital areas, making him a deserving recipient of this prestigious award.

The CEO of the Year award was presented to Mr. Vikram Sinha, CEO and President Director of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison for his leadership in executing a world-class merger which is now a benchmark in the telecom industry.
